Each Sunday, there is a wonderful team of people who arrive early and prepare a warm welcome for the congregation as they arrive. Welcome team members greet members and visitors as they arrive to church, welcome them to Religious Education and to worship, pass out orders of service, collect and count the offertory, and assist with answering questions during our coffee hour immediately following the service. In short, they embody First Unitarian’s ministry of hospitality and community-building to all who enter our doors each Sunday. Our Welcome Team includes greeters, ushers, hospitality , Visitor/Newcomer Group, and Welcome Table volunteers. If you would like to join this ministry, or for more information, please contact Lois Morris, ET Liaison for Membership.
You are invited to come after church to the Chancel Anteroom (to the left in front sanctuary) for a get acquainted time from 11:45 – 12:15 p.m. Each Sunday you can bring your coffee and questions. A facilitator will be present to coordinate the discussion and welcome you.
