Vivian has been a member since 2009. She has been involved with the Denominational Growth Committee and the Delmarva UU Cluster as this area of growth of the UU denomination is a primary interest. She became a UU in the fifth grade when she lived in Northern Virginia. In later years she belonged to a small fellowship when living in Maryland, and this experience made her aware of the special needs of smaller congregations. Vivian is a consultant for the pharmaceutical industry and publishes a scientific journal. Her favorite pastimes are birdwatching, cycling, and being a grandmother.
