Dorothy (Dottie) Ashcraft has been a member of First U since 2001. She had been attending church since 2000. Just after 9/11/01, Rev. Dr. Patrick O’Neill said that we all needed to be part of a community. This made a deep impression on her. At that time, she was working as a hospice nurse and joined Connection Circles. After retirement, she became more involved with Pastoral Care, Faithful Dialogues, the search team for Assistant Minister and various educational forums. Her passion has been with Metaphysical musing. Social Justice is also important to her and she hopes to participate more in this area in the future.
