We are First U strong! We believe we can make a difference in our community. First Unitarian begins with our religious education classes. Our children learn that differences and commonalities between people are the foundation of a reasoned life. We stand stronger as a religion, when we teach our children how to question world decisions. If they seek to understand the world and their place in it, the planet will be a better place. The Age of Reason classes, for seven to nine years old, create a safe environment, in which, children begin their personal spiritual journey.

We live our religion, when we continue to be outspoken. Social Justice programs like ILYA, help young adults who have aged out of the foster care system. Working with the Coalition to Dismantle the New Jim Crow, Standing on the Side of Love, Emmanuel Dining Room and Green Sanctuary cements our covenant with the wider community outside our church doors. To grow as a church, we must allow ourselves to push past old ideas and move forward to continue to be strong. We must embrace change ourselves to visualize our future and provide the generous FINANCIAL support that our church deserves.
