Energize Delaware, an initiative of the Delaware Sustainable Energy Utility, has announced that homeowners now can get rebates up to $6,750 (previously $4,500) for making upgrades that increase energy efficiency under the Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® Program. Home improvements completed through the end of 2015 are eligible for these increased rebates that make the upgrades more affordable than ever. Also through December 31, 2015, homeowners can receive a 75 percent discount on the cost of a comprehensive home energy audit (up to a maximum of $300 or the cost of the audit).
