The July meeting of the Coalition was held at Hanover Presbyterian Church, and we welcomed a group of youth leaders representing six different countries in Africa.  They were visiting the U.S. under the guidance of the University of Delaware and provided an interesting cultural exchange for our coalition.  Rev. Lawrence Livingston spoke eloquently about the shooting in South Carolina, and we viewed a tape from the eulogy given by President Obama.

The Forum Committee continues to seek sponsors and partners for the conference Hope, Opportunity and Racism: Breaking the Poverty to Prison Connection planned for November 14 at the Chase Center in Wilmington.  Please plan to attend!
