Help fund First Unitarian Church's Grants for Growth to the Unitarian Universalists of Central Delaware (Dover)
The Dover congregation has begun to run 20 second spots on WDDE (91.1), the local public radio station in Dover. The Grant for Growth will support this publicity effort. The expectation is that these will attract visitors who wish to experience a liberal faith, and in addition, will identify a Unitarian Universalist presence in a wider swath of the Dover community.
Their experience with this approach may assist Wilmington as we move to grow our own membership. As our church and the Delmarva Peninsula Cluster of UU churches begin to address issues of legislative justice it will be important to have a strong congregation in our State’s Capitol. Please give generously to support the growth of Unitarian Universalism.
The Unitarian Universalists of Central Delaware is a new congregation, bringing a wide range of spiritual and intellectual thinking Sundays at 10 a.m. at 340 North Queen St. in Dover.
We’re a liberal faith for open minds. You can view their web site, here.
