Will you share your blessings with Holiday Giving?

ILYA (Independent Living for Young Adults) has had a good response to our appeal for folks who will help fill the holiday wish list of young people who have aged out of foster care and are out on their own. But the lists are still coming in and we still need more help.
You can take a whole list, or one item on a list, shop for toys or just adult items or purchase one of the gift cards requested. You can even just donate funds and someone else will do the shopping for you. Remember, if you buy gift cards through the booster card project, your gift gives twice… once to the young person who receives it but also to our church from the booster proceeds.
Won't you help spread some holiday cheer to these young folks who are working very hard to make it out on their own? Help us say loud and clear, “First Unitarian Church of Wilmington cares about you!” Please see Barbara Perry or Carolyn Gibson during coffee hour every Sunday in November or use the hot links here to email them directly.  From the young people and the ILYA team… thank you and Happy Holidays to you and your family!!!
