This plate offering will support a Grants for Growth application, entitled “Removing Barriers to Growth: Supporting Families with Young Children”, that will allow the UU Fellowship of Easton, MD to hire a qualified and experienced childcare supervisor who will provide consistent, professional childcare. They believe that the consistent presence of one individual, who will know the children and have the confidence of the parents, will remove a significant barrier to growth, namely that requesting parents to participate in child care supervision precludes them from participating in services and other activities. The Grants for Growth program of First Unitarian Wilmington has a long history of supporting small congregations who are intentional about membership growth. Please help us to continue this tradition with your generous contribution.
