Stories to Celebrate By – 150 Years

“Ours is a church which began with a conversation among friends,” our history begins.  Today, our mission is to be a beloved community that nourishes minds and spirits, fights injustice, and transforms the world through loving action – much like it has been since it was established 150 years ago.  As we prepare to celebrate our sesquicentennial, we are seeking members' and friends' stories that help us to reflect on First U when we are at our best and hope that you have stories to share.  Our plan is to include a few in our annual report and to have all displayed at the 150th party on April 30th.  We have put together a few prompts to spur your thoughts.  If you would like to participate in this way, please send your story by April 4th to Nancy Pinson (membership@firstuuwilm.org) or leave it at the church office to my attention:

The questions/prompts are can be found at this link

Many thanks,
Nancy Pinson, on behalf of the 150th Celebration Team
