David Govatos, son of Judy Govatos, has graciously offered to host a wine tasting event on Tuesday, May 17th from 5-8pm at his wine shop Swigg in the Independence Mall on 202.  Come enjoy free samplings of wine and snacks while socializing with your First U friends.  10% of all purchases that night will go to the First U for their youth center improvements project.  What a fun way to earn $ for our church!
Rev Richard Speck and Janet Tillman have offered a wine tasting event on Friday, June 17th to taste Richard's homemade wine!  This event is open to all donors of the “birthday gift” for the Youth Center renovations.  Any donation (none too small) will allow you to participate, so please consider helping this worthy cause.  More details to come.  Save the date!
