One of the frequently asked questions about our congregation's 30 year commitment to Emmanuel Dining Room (EDR) is: How much does it cost us to serve a hot lunch to over 200 people once a month?  The answer: About $1 per serving or $200 per month ($2,400 per year), funded solely by you, the congregation. 

The First U EDR team has streamlined and experimented over the years with our Chicken Shepherd's Pie recipe to produce a cost effective one-dish meal that is the dining room's second favorite of the month. (We can't compete with Fried Chicken Day!).
