Mulching – Saturday, August 27 (rain date Sunday, August 28)
The Buildings and Grounds committee is organizing grounds maintenance work to prepare for Ingathering. 

• WEEDING – At your convenience prior to August 27
• MULCHING – Saturday, August 27 from 8AM to noon. (rain date Sunday, August 28 from 12:30 to 4:30PM)

Snacks and ice water will be available for mulchers.  Your service to the church helps us conserve funds that can be directed to other important programs. 
Due to low turnout (4 people) on August 13 & 15, there are still many weeds to be removed BEFORE mulching on August 27.  Please invest an hour or two at your convenience.  The Memorial Garden is in good shape, in part due to the great job CYRE did Sunday morning August 14 weeding, planting, and mulching the hedgerow. 
We need at least 14 people to do the mulching.  We will need additional wheelbarrows and shovels if you can bring them.  All levels of expertise, strength, and time commitment can contribute.  In addition to strong backs for shoveling and hauling, we also need people with plant knowledge for spreading.
