What is Counterpoint? The Counterpoint Society is group of people who are able to give funding to the music program above their annual pledge to make special music available for our worship services. The annual music budget line item pays for equipment purchases, up keep and new music purchases. Counterpoint makes possible special performers for all-music Sundays, special holiday services and guest musicians periodically during the year. Without Counterpoint, we would not have special professional guest soloists and performers.

What has Counterpoint done in the past? All music Sundays, special quest ensembles of jazz, string quartets, world music ensembles and a variety of groups including multi-choir celebrations. Soloists such as vocalists, instrumentalists, pianist guest accompanists and more! Including groups such as singing monks, an all-female chorus, the Harvey Price Ensemble, steel drums, School of Rock bands and more!

For the next three weeks, starting September 18th, go to the piano in the front of the Sanctuary after Sunday worship to learn more and to sign up for Counterpoint. Any amount is welcome! The following levels are suggested:

Angels $500+
Director's Circle $250+
Patrons $100+
Conductors $75+
Baton Carriers $50+
Friends $1+
