Torah Study Group Meets Monthly

We meet the second Sunday of each month from 9:15 – 10:15 a.m. in room 26 led by Mitchell Weiss. This year the group has been exploring the various holidays of the Jewish calendar. In September and October, of course, the high holidays of Rosh Hashonna and Yom Kippur were studied, and coming in November and December the group will look into Sukkot and Hannukkah.
Mitch is also exploring 'field trips' to local synagogues this church year. For example, the group plans to visit Beth Emeth (Reform) on a Saturday morning; Beth Shalom (Conservative) on a Thursday night, and Adas Kodesch (Orthodox) on a Wednesday evening. He's also planning a Potluck Seder on Passover, and celebrating the children's holiday of Purim.
Come to Torah Study Group's next meeting on Nov. 13th to learn more about the group – and the field trips. Here's the second Sunday schedule for the remainder of 2016 as well as 2017. You may join the group at any time.
