We just learned that First and Central Presbyterian Church is starting a program that will support young people aging out of foster care that's different than what our ILYA (Independent Living for Young Adults) program does. They are providing a nutrition training program through which they will do hands on cooking classes in their newly remodeled teaching kitchen. The classes will be based on nutrition education teaching easy, healthy, one-person meals. The young people will be given recipes and a set of pots and pans.
