The 2017 ILYA (Independent Living for Young Adults) Graduation Pizza Party was a huge success. Eleven graduates and their Independent Living Coordinators were able to attend (work and class schedules prevented others from joining in) and had a great time celebrating their huge achievement. Conversation was lively and Café Verdi did a fantastic job offering many specialty pizzas that were enjoyed by all.
Every grad (whether they attended or not) received a backpack filled with things they could take to a dorm room or apartment, some fun graduation items and a $25 gift card. This was possible due to the generous donations made by many church members and friends. Look at the faces to see how you made these young people feel.
