The Special Collection on July 9 is for Urban Bike Project of Wilmington. Urban Bike Project supports Wilmington communities by facilitating access to bicycling as a healthy, affordable, practical means of transportation and recreation. Learning bicycle maintenance builds confidence and engages adults and youth in workshops, summer camps and Earn-A-Bike programs in schools. Bicycling benefits the environment and empowers under-resourced residents by improving access to employment, healthful activity and other positive opportunities.
