September Reflections-Children and Youth

* New and familiar faces filled the classrooms as we started another year of Children and Youth Religious Exploration (CYRE) programming! Exciting changes to the CYRE program were discussed at our annual Parent Meeting. Please follow this link if you still need to register your child(ren) for classes. (Muggles are still being accepted into the 2nd-4th grade Hogwarts class!)

* Our 8/9/10th grade Our Whole Lives (OWL) participants kicked-off a 25 session program that will continue through March 2018. We are so grateful to Marilyn Hyte, Jackson Salasky and Tracy Spinka-Doms for facilitating this incredible program for our youth!

* As part of the Peace Week Delaware Peace Art Exhibition, our Kindergartners through 12th graders created thoughtful artwork depicting their thoughts to the question, “What does a peaceful world look, or feel like to you?” On 9/17 the opening exhibition was a huge success! The artwork was on prominent display at the Delaware Contemporary Museum on the Riverfront and will be on display at First U this December.
