Welcome to another exciting year at First U! Celebrate by visiting the House Pin table on December 3 and purchasing a pin or bead jewelry for that special someone in your life. Or treat yourself to a unique Angel pin to proclaim your willingness to combat hate and build bridges among diverse communities!
For many years, we have maintained our pin sale price at $15. We have donated the difference between the price we paid for each pin (originally $7.50) and our $15 sale price to the YWCA Home Life Management Center. However, the price we now pay for some pins has increased to $15 (plus shipping). To maintain our level of giving to the YWCA, we are increasing our pin sale price to $20. However, the price of our one-of-a-kind bead jewelry remains $15 or less, and we donate the ENTIRE sale price of bead jewelry to the YWCA. We offer bead necklaces, earrings, memory wire and stretchable bracelets, and eyeglass holders. Each purchase comes with a card describing how your purchase benefits the YWCA Home Life Management Center; we can also give you a flyer from the YWCA describing how homeless families benefit from the work of the Center.
