Our Soul Matters theme for October is “Courage” and several members have provided food for thought through their creative arts. Stop by to see our October display along the 2nd floor hallway outside the Brunner Chapel and Music Room.

Sign-ups are now open for November through June. We welcome artists of all ages and media to engage with us in this creative way of exploring our monthly Soul Matters themes. Submit works as many months as inspire you. Works might be something you’ve already completed or might be something new, inspired by the theme. If writing is more your creative outlet and you would like to submit a short piece or poetry suitable for framing based on the monthly theme, those are also welcome. We have a few frames available (11×14, matted to 8×10). If you have questions, send them to art@firstuuwilm.org or speak with David Weiss or Nancy Pinson on Sundays.
