December’s special collection on December 24 at both the 10:30 a.m service and at the Candlelight Service at 9:45 p.m. will fund our annual efforts for the Emmanuel Dining Room (EDR). This once-a-year collection provides our entire year’s budget of grocery supplies, which will feed lunch to over 200 men, women, and children in Wilmington every month. The annual costs for this program are $2,400, which breaks down to $1/person/month. Quite a bargain for a wonderful hot meal for those in need in our community.
