Hope for our World

I came to First Unitarian in 2003 because I needed church. After a few visits, I knew I wanted to keep coming and quickly joined as a member. I joined a small group and began to learn more about myself and others in the group. That was my hook. Throughout the years, I’ve served First U in many groups including a ministerial search committee and the Board of Directors. I’ve also seen Unitarian Universalism on a larger scale by attending 3 General Assemblies. These experiences have allowed me to grow as a person and a citizen of the world. I look forward to moving forward.
This church and this faith have given me hope for the world. This church provides seeds of thought, opportunities for action, and challenges me to grow. I want this church to be a touchstone for others in the future. And that is why I support First Unitarian Wilmington with my time and with my annual pledge.
Financial stewardship is a gift and a way to “pay it forward.” I strongly encourage everyone to dig deep, review the Giving Guide, and pledge as generously as you can in our 2018-19 Stewardship Campaign.
