This year over 50 First U members and friends helped out at Elbert Palmer Elementary School in Wilmington on Martin Luther King Day. (See slideshow here) Our workday included:
* Mural painting
* Decorating bulletin boards
* Cleaning, sorting and prepping school activities
* Gardening
* Organizing the library
* We even had some folks sign up to be ongoing mentors
