Navigating the Waters of White Supremacy Is a Balancing Act

What do we do after acknowledging the fact that we all live in a world governed by white supremacist systems? On March 4, please join Rev. Dr. Hope Johnson for a conversation that includes identifying the elements of white supremacy.  How do we find balance as we leap from simply swimming, to deliberately navigating these treacherous waters?

The date is this Sunday, March 4th @ 12:15 p.m. A light lunch will be served in Room 25 and child care is available by reservation. (To request a place at lunch and/or to request child care, please email )

Rev. Dr. Johnson serves as a Congregational Life Consultant for the Unitarian Universalist Association, while also continuing to stay rooted in congregational service as Parish Minister of the UU Congregation of Central Nassau, NY.  She brings specialties in conflict resolution and multicultural congregational development.  Previously, she served as Minister of Spiritual Life and Director of Religious Education at the First Unitarian Church of Brooklyn, NY.  She brings a wealth of experience from her years of wider UUA leadership, including the UUA Appointments Committee, the UUA Nominating Committee, the UUMA Continental Good Offices team and a variety of UU College of Social  Justice leadership positions.
