Ethnic Cultural Heritage Celebration – Saturday, June 16 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The event is a celebration of the diversity of cultures in our local community through food, food demonstrations, dance performances, art, and more! Learn more, here.
Delaware’s current Poet Laureates, the Twin Poets, Al Mills and Nnamdi Chukwuocha will be performing!
There will be a Dance Demonstration by the Hindu Temple of Delaware and Kalananda Dance School.
There will be a Mexican native dance performance and Mexican arts and crafts and food!
Healthy Foods for Healthy Kids will be doing a Greek Food Demo.
Guatemalan and Iranian customs will be on display.
There will be a performance of Kurdish music and a display of Kurdish customs.
The Indian Graduate Student Association will be displaying information on East Indian Customs.
The Delaware Sikh Awareness Coalition will have a table and wall display with information on Punjabi and Sikh customs.
The University of Delaware’s English Language Institute will host a costume gallery.
There will be activities for kids of all ages including: Fun with Chopsticks, Bracelet Making, Japanese Origami, Costumes, Children’s Book Authors… and more!
