Please vote in the Delaware Primary Election to be held on Thursday, September 6, 2018.
Why do we watch and let others choose for us instead of participating? In the last mid-term primary in 2014, only 7% of registered Democrats and 14% of registered Republicans participated.
If you want to help get more people out to the polls, the People’s Platform is sponsoring local canvassing events. Canvassing is one of the most effective ways to involve people in the political process. People’s Platform will train you to engage in discussion about issues related to criminal, economic, and educational justice.
This get out the vote initiative is bipartisan. Canvassing events are held Tuesday evenings, Wednesday mornings, and Saturday mornings throughout August and the beginning of September.
