Weeding and Mulching to be done on August 24 & 25.
The Buildings and Grounds committee is organizing grounds maintenance in several sessions:
WEEDING: Friday, August 24 from 8 a.m. to noon.
MULCHING: Saturday, August 25 from 8 a.m. to noon. (Rain date Sunday, August 26 from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m.)
Your service to the church helps us conserve funds that can be directed to other important programs. Weeders should bring their favorite tools, we can supply a few. You can also come over and weed at other times that are more convenient for you. If we have enough help, we will also do bush and tree trimming. Bring hand trimmers, loppers, and/or saws.
For mulching, we will need additional wheelbarrows and shovels if you can bring them. All levels of expertise, strength, and time commitment can contribute. We need at least 12 people to weed and 14 to mulch to make the work faster and easier. Come for as long as you can and make some new friends. “Curb appeal” can help attract new members and will look good for Ingathering! Contact Marty Peres at boppamp@gmail.com for details.
