With an electronic survey and a dozen in-person Cottage Meetings now behind us, your Minister Search Committee has completed a comprehensive look at the needs and wishes of the congregation regarding our next minister. Our survey was taken by 180 members and friends, and 120 attended a Cottage Meeting. A summary of the Cottage Meeting results is available here.
Following the completion of the Cottage Meetings, Cindy Cohen has elected to resign from the search team. We are grateful for her skill in managing this complex project and for the many insights she has provided the committee.
We are working with the Board of Trustees to recruit a new member of our team. As we bring on this new member, we will pause to re-examine our committee processes and covenant to be intentionally inclusive of every idea and perspective within our team. While we do this, we will continue with the work of the committee, which is now focused on assembling the descriptive packet of information that will represent First Unitarian to ministers who are searching for new opportunities.
