Only a few days left to check the current Art Gallery focusing on the themes of Vision and Sanctuary! We will be setting up the next display during the first week of November.
Our Soul Matters themes for November and December are “How can we be a people of Memory?” and “How can we be a people of Mystery.” Here are some thoughts about these two themes:
Memory: The practice of honest remembrance & honoring the shoulders on which we stand
Mystery: The practice of embracing life with humility and awe
What do these themes conjure up for you? Do you have works that evoke these themes already, or perhaps you want to create something new?Please let David Weiss or Nancy Pinson know that you are going to participate. Bring your display pieces to the church office by Sunday, November 4. We welcome artists of all ages and media to engage with us in this creative way of exploring our monthly Soul Matters themes. If writing is more your creative outlet and you would like to submit a short piece or poetry suitable for framing, based on the current themes, those are also welcome.
