Tomorrow, October 27, the Minister Search Committee will welcome Rev. Keith Kron, director of ministerial transitions at the UUA, for a morning workshop called Beyond Categorical Thinking. All members and friends are urged to attend. We’ll have coffee and breakfast snacks at 8:30 a.m. in the Parish Hall, followed by the workshop from 9:00 until noon. Walk-ins are welcome without prior registration. Rev. Kron will also preach the sermon on Sunday.
The Board of Trustees has appointed Julie Brewer to the Search Committee to replace Cindy Cohen, who resigned earlier this month. Julie will join the committee immediately. With the addition of a new member, the search team will hold a mini-retreat on October 31, during which we will review and renew our covenant and processes. Rev. Roberta will facilitate the retreat in her role as the committee’s chaplain.
