Thank you to all of you who supported me and the First U Book Corner by purchasing a copy of Susan Matthias’ new book, “Spell-Bound Puddles,” which I illustrated. I ran out last Sunday! I will have more books available on Sunday, November 11, and am always available to sign your book if you purchased it through Amazon and bring it in to church. Also, I will keep some with the Book Corner for the coming months. In “Spell-Bound Puddles”, Puddles is a penguin who stammers when he speaks; other penguins tease him and leave him out of their games. He’s sad until his teacher and the principal come up with an idea to help him and his classmates to learn about acceptance and friendship, despite differences. Sounds like a good story for a Unitarian Universalist child! The book sells for $9.95.
