This year our Campaign has two parts, and our theme is:
FIRST U CREATING POSSIBILITIES
Part I – The Operating Budget Pledging Campaign
* Creating Possibilities for our Operating Budget means that our collective pledges will enable us to keep all of our program areas going and growing. These program areas include worship, religious education, music, social justice, and community outreach.
* As we search for a new minister, meeting our fundraising goals will tell ministerial candidates that First U is a strong church ready for a dynamic future.
* Our goal for the Operating Budget is $510,000 which will enable us to fully operate all of our programs, welcome a new minister, and meet our commitments to the UUA (Unitarian Universalist Association).
* The good news is that, beginning with your Board, Search Committee, and Campaign Leaders, many members have already pledged, committing to creating possibilities! Plan to join us as on Sunday, January 13th as we kick off this Campaign. Then be ready and welcoming when your Visiting Steward contacts you about your role in Creating Possibilities.
