CANCELLED – NEW DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED – Webinar on January 13, 7-8 p.m. in Room 25, will provide an opportunity for music ministry leaders to discuss the challenges and solutions to creating vibrant music programs on a limited budget. Participants will explore questions such as:
* How do you fill your program’s folders with legal copies of music with a limited budget?
* What are some sources for inexpensive instruments?
* How do you convince your board to increase funding for your program?
* What are examples of creative and effective fundraising?
All Are welcome. This collaborative discussion is not just for paid music staff. All worship staff and lay worship team members are encouraged to come. There is no charge for the webinar and no registration is required.
January 20, 12 noon – 1 p.m. “What is the ink on a page?” in our Music Room on the second floor. A brief exploration into music notation for the non-musician. Learn about what is important on a page of music, and what is not. Learn to decode the hymnals.
