Join us on Thursday, April 18 from Noon – 2:00 p.m. OR
7:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. in Brunner Chapel. Rev. Roberta challenged you to join a discussion group about the book Centering: Navigating Race, Authenticity, and Power in Ministry to continue our racial justice work. The book is available at the Book Corner, from our church library, and is also being passed around.
We are planning two groups. More information and sign-ups will be available soon. Three tasks have the potential to bring you into meaningful dialogue with others:
1) Get your hands on a copy of the book
2) Read the book
3) Come to one discussion group on April 18
From the book: “We as people of color broaden the experience of Unitarian Universalism. What is it that we bring? What is it about our experience that broadens and deepens what Unitarian Universalism is or ought to be?” by Rev. Walter Leflore
