For 32 years members of our congregation and others have been giving to Chalice Lighters, the Unitarian Universalist program that helps churches to organize, hire ministers, and improve buildings. These gifts–only $20 a “call,” three times a year, have worked wonders, and now it’s our turn to be on the receiving end! This time gifts to Chalice Lighters will benefit improvements to make our church more accessible and welcoming. Please give generously to Chalice Lighters. Look for Barbara Crowell and Joan Priest in the Parish Hall on Easter Sunday, April 21, to join Chalice Lighters or to make sure you’re up to date. Or visit the Central East Region CER website to give on-line. Over time over $2.5 million has been raised, and 8 new congregations with 750 members have been started. It is a powerful way to spread Unitarian Universalism. Thank you for your many gifts to help our church and others!
