We are excited to announce that our church will be hosting not one, but two Peace Week events in September! On Monday, September 23rd, The Human Rights Task Force will welcome Yolanda Schlabach, the Executive Director of Zoë Ministries, a Delaware based organization committed to “nurturing life out of hard places.” She will present on human trafficking in Delaware and the US.
On Friday, September 27th, The Environmental Task Force will show the documentary, “Eating You Alive”, a movie that promotes peace to the earth, the animals, and to our own bodies by eating a healthy, sustainable diet. Please mark your calendars now!
