Newcomers Welcome!! Are you looking for a way to get more involved in the mission of First U to “fight injustice?” Come join the Human Rights Task Force (HRTF). We will meet this Sunday, May 19, at 9:00 a.m. in Room 26.
This spring, many of us participated in the YWCA Dialogues to Action and we also held a small group discussion about the book “Centering” to continue our racial justice work. We want to plan more of these discussions. We showed the movie, “The Last Campaign of Governor Booth Gardner” and learned about the 3-year struggle to pass the Delaware End of Life Options Bill that continues to be stalled in committee.
There is so much more we could do . . . if only we had more people . . .
