Our Unitarian Universalist 7th Principle reminds us to have respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part. Connecting people with nature, the Delaware Nature Society is focused on healthy water, protection of habitats and wildlife, and conservation of working and natural lands. Their mission reflects UU values as stewards of the earth and disciples of environmental science.
On Sunday, July 14, a special collection will be taken to support the work of the volunteers and staff of the Delaware Nature Society. This critical environmental organization has supported by members of First UU for many years. We invite our congregation to give generously to continue the fight to preserve and protect our fragile “web of all existence,” the only one we have.
