Emmanuel Dining Room is in great need of take-out containers. They prepare meals in containers to give to those folks who may need to take their meals home. So, do our planet a favor by recycling and do our less fortunate neighbors a favor by enabling “take out” from Emmanuel Dining Room. You can drop containers (clean and with good fitting lids) at 21 N. Jackson St., Wilmington DE 19801 any day between 9:30-11 a.m. or 1:30-2:30 p.m. Ring the bell if the door isn’t open and a friendly volunteer will take your donation.
Also, if you have leftover food from a big dinner or party or have bought too much of something, they are happy for those donations too. It doesn’t have to be something specifically prepared for them. ILYA donated salad and pizza leftover from the Graduation Pizza Party and they were delighted to get it.
