This is a great opportunity to support the church plus learn about how church is “made” every week. The church office needs volunteers to answer the phone, greet visitors, and assist staff with a variety of tasks such as proofreading, copying, filing, etc. In addition, office volunteers help with special projects such as mailings and preparation for Sunday Religious exploration classes.
The best part is meeting new people and getting to know staff members and other volunteers.
We currently have an opening on Wednesday mornings from 9 a.m. to noon, although we can also do 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. instead. We also have openings for substitutes to fill in when our regular weekday volunteers go on vacation or need a day off.
