This year we are celebrating our Ingathering Sunday on September 8. It is a time when we gather to celebrate the start of another church/school year. Our service will include our annual water communion ritual in a whole church worship service led by Rev. Pamela Wat, Scott Ward, and Catherine Williamson. All are welcome to bring a small amount of water that is from (or represents) a significant place, event, or experience of the last year. Water could be from a garden, pond, ocean, sink, or elsewhere and it could represent time with loved ones, a vacation, personal milestone, challenge, or something else that is meaningful. We will pour our water into a shared vessel and the water will be purified and kept for child dedications and other blessings. We have decided not to have our usual ingathering picnic because we anticipate putting energy toward a building rededication celebration and installation celebration in our near-future (information is forthcoming). If you or your group would like to provide coffee hour refreshments for Sunday, September 8, or any other Sunday this year, please click here.
In the meantime, the whole church is invited for a potluck social at Bellevue State Park on September 15 from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. more information is available at this link.
