Handmade hats and scarves were donated to UUSC last fall, and the project was quite a success! The Knitting Ministry is ready to exceed what was accomplished last year. We are asking members and friends to make hats or scarves of any size and color. These items will be sent to UUSC to distribute wherever they are needed in the world. Last year we sent 100 items, and our goal is to do more this year. If you can help, please drop off your completed hat or scarf in the church office. We will continue to collect items until the Guest At Your Table program concludes later this fall. Work at home or join us on Mondays at 1:00 p.m. in room #27 to work on knitting and crochet projects. We share patterns, yarns, and our enthusiasm.
