IMAC is a local coalition of clergy who collaborate against the systemic racial and economic injustices that manifest poverty, addiction, and violence in our communities. Rev. Richard Speck and Rev. Pamela Wat are members of IMAC and invite First Unitarian Church to join them in supporting IMAC’s 2020 Delaware Faith in Action Plan. This plan includes community engagement to promote equitable public schools, opportunities for employment, and a fair system of justice. The fundraising goal is for each IMAC-affiliated congregation to raise $1,500. The sum of First Unitarian Church’s October second Sunday offering (on October 13) will be our contribution to this 2020 DE Faith in Action Plan.
