October 20th is the kick off date for our 2019
Unitarian Universalist Service Committee‘s Guest at Your Table program. The Guest at Your Table (GAYT) program’s purpose is to provide information about the world-wide work of UUSC and promote support for its work. Read about Stories of Hope, Women Leaders, Strong Communities.
During the next six weeks, you will receive E-News and E-Blast articles, web links for program details, and service bulletin inserts, plus literature and other materials at the UUSC table in the Parish Hall.
Talk with each other about “WHY IT IS A GOOD IDEA TO SUPPORT UUSC” and encourage each other to contribute or donate. Take home a cute little GAYT box to hold your donated cash or checks, or use it as a symbolic reminder for you to donate to UUSC.
Some easy and optional ways to support UUSC:
1) Give online as frequently as you can at this link.
2) Use a GAYT envelope (always available at the church)-just write a generous check and send it on its way.
3) Keep the GAYT box on your kitchen table and feed it with cash.
4) Buy donated honey, as 100% of the proceeds will go to UUSC. Doyle’s Apiary will donate honey you can buy for yourself or to give to others-what a “sweet” way to give, while enjoying the wonderful taste of 100% pure, local HONEY.
5) Join the knitting group and knit hats and scarves to donate to people in need around the world through UUSC. Contact Jackie Feldman at for more information or click here.
The GAYT program will end on November 24th-the date to return your GAYT boxes and the date to celebrate all the knitted hats and scarves. For more information, you can contact Doyle Dobbins at
Thank you for your support!
