ILYA (Independent Living for Young Adults) received the following letter from one of the youth you have supported through your generous contributions of time and donations. We hope you feel as great about this as we do!

To My ILYA Family,
I am writing this letter to give my deepest thanks to all members of ILYA that have helped me and foster youth in my same situation. After long nights of studying, stress, tears and perseverance I have finally graduated! I had a few financial setbacks but thanks to the wonderful ILYA team for their support I was able to finish school without taking a break.
I can’t begin to express what your financial contribution means to me. More than the monetary value, I so greatly appreciate the thought and all the time behind the gift. I also appreciate everything that ILYA has done to help foster youth succeed in many situations. Many of us do not have a huge level of familial support and ILYA continuously goes above and beyond to make sure that we have as much assistance as possible. For that especially, I want to send my gratitude, appreciation and blessings to all ILYA members.
This time has been difficult for me and it’s extremely hard to reach out for help but knowing that I have the support of people like you genuinely helps. Please know that this will not be forgotten.
