Members and friends of First Unitarian contributed 224 hats and scarves to the Guest at your Table (GAYT) program this year. In September, 116 items were sent to Boston for distribution, and this month 108 more will be sent. The biggest gift of this project is not the yarn but the time spent making the items. I hope that most of you were able to see these gifts at a Sunday service or at coffee hour. Many crafters placed their offering into a donation box in the church office. We don’t know who you are! A hearty thanks for your work and for your contributions. Members of the knitting and craft group met regularly throughout the year to work, to offer encouragement, and to help one another. We have exceeded the number of items sent last year, and we are looking forward to doing it again next year! Thanks to each person who contributed to making this part of the GAYT program a success!
