We are sad to announce the death of long-time First Unitarian member Carol Hasson who died on January 18, 2020. Carol and Don Hasson joined First Unitarian Church in 1975 and raised three children in the church. Carol taught in our Sunday school program through the 1980’s. Carol and Don were married for 42 years, until his death in July 2018. We extend our care and concern to Carol and Don’s children: Daniel E. Hasson, Diana C. Rager (Jason), and David D. Hasson (Courtney) and other family and friends who are grieving. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Saturday, January 25, 2020, in the Chapel at Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a memorial service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment for Carol and her husband will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
