Imagine listening to Bach’s Toccata, Adagio, & Fugue, BWV 564, a composition that shows off what a skilled organist can do with the pedals of our amazing Rieger organ. To organists, the pedals are another keyboard, and you may never have heard our organ played with the section of pedals used in this piece. Well, imagine no more! David Schelat will be closing his organ concert at First Unitarian with this piece! David Schelat is founder, president and artistic director of Market Street Music, and conductor for Center City Chorale and Mastersingers of Wilmington. He has had organ recitals across the United States, and has been heard in broadcasts, including Pipedreams, the nationally syndicated program of National Public Media. The concert is March 15th at 3:00 p.m. in the First Unitarian Church sanctuary. Come and bring your friends!
