YOUTH PEACE ART EXHIBIT in the Art Gallery

Since we can’t come in to see this exhibit in person, please click here to view a video of our art. Our March Soul Matters theme is “What does it mean to be a people of wisdom?” Make sure to stop up to the second floor outside Brunner Chapel to take in the wisdom of children and youth in our Art Gallery. The traveling VISIONARY PEACE YOUTH ART exhibit sponsored by Pacem in Terris will be showing in the Art Gallery throughout the month of March. This program is an opportunity for young people in kindergarten through twelfth grade to express to all of us what peace looks like – what the world should be like. The art work is displayed at The Delaware Contemporary at the Riverfront in Wilmington each September. From there, a jury selects art pieces to go on tour throughout our region to a diverse group of universities, libraries, theaters, corporations, organizations, schools and churches, temples and mosques. First Unitarian is fortunate to be one of the locations! Our own Mason Pust has his art showing in the show at First U. You will be amazed at the wisdom of our young people.
